My experience with Lithia Motors customer service, specifically at Lithia Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Anchorage, has been utterly frustrating and distressing. My car has been held on their lot for nearly a year, forcing me to make $800 monthly payments and maintain full coverage insurance on a vehicle I couldn’t use, while losing significant wages from being unable to drive clients. Despite my emails to lithiacares@***.com and concernresolution@***.com, and a public X post yesterday asking for a safe airport handover, I’ve received no response from Lithia Cares. The only contact was an angry call from Edgar, who blamed me repeatedly for the car being there, saying the lot owner demands it removed immediately, as if it’s my fault. His suggestion to leave my car in a public lot like Walmart with keys inside is reckless given Anchorage’s crime rate, and his hostility terrifies me as a woman traveling alone. I’m flying 230 miles tomorrow to retrieve my car because an electrician is at my home today, but I’m scared to face this alone due to Edgar’s behavior. I demand a manager, not Edgar, oversee a safe handover at the dealership tomorrow with my car and both key fobs ready. Please respond by 5 PM PST today to confirm this, or I will escalate to the Alaska Department of Law Consumer Protection Unit and post further on X. This has caused me immense financial and emotional hardship, and I deserve better.
