Miss represented cars condition, Refused any repairs under 60 day warranty, Damaged vehicle

In early December 2023 I bought a 2016 Mustang GT from Lithia Toyota of Medford. 2 days later I discovered the ECU had been keyed making the extended warranty they sold me useless.

At this point they refused to unwind the deal or help in any way.

In the meantime I discovered the front control arms were worn out. I made an appointment under there 60 day warranty about the front end and they blew me off and said the control arms are fine. I then had a ford mechanic do a safety inspection and was informed that the front end is wore out to the tune of $1700.00 in repairs. I made another appointment under the still current 60 day warranty and again was told the car is fine.

they keeped my car my car for 2 days this time but when I got the car back there was numerous areas of body damage to the vehicle I paid $29000 for. When I approached them about these issue they put me off for days and never returned my call. I called again and they said be here in a couple hours and we will make it right. When I arrived they offered me $5000 less than I just paid for my car and offered me to buy another car for $5000 over their asking price on the lot, stating they would sell the Mustang I just bought to auction.

The whole matter is unbelievable that they would do business like this.

I can not warranty the car because of the ECU, the front end needs $1700.00 in repairs, and to top it all off I have hundreds of dollars in body and paint damage and of course this devalues the car further. If I repair the car it will of course be reflected on the carfax.

I was ripped off wholesale. Lithia refuses to answer the BBB and by the way already has a judgement against them from the FTC for prior incidents as the ones I listed.

I did however finally receive my extended warranty money back after 3 months, that took numerous phone calls and trips to their location.

I am paying much more in monthly payments than I needed to as well since the extended warranty was financed as part of the price.

Yes I did get warranty money credited to the principal of the car but the payment remains higher than it should have been as it has already been financed.

I would like to add that I am veteran, and made many sacrifices to by my dream car and all this has been nothing but a nightmare.

Honesty and fairness is what is important to me and Lithia Toyota has none of these traits. Yes buyer be ware here they are dishonest.

Bought a Car from Lithia

I'm out of state and bought a 2015 Jeep Wrangler from the dealership. These people never answer the phone, I have tried to call about a hundred times and you might get someone to answer the phone but more often than not no one answers.

I even called the general manage I think his name was Al, he never answered his phone or called me back, as a matter of fact his message says he's going to be gone until April, this is December.

He has another contact on his VM, some lady, I left her a message she never called back.

Their customer service is aweful! If it was a car that I could have bought from any place else I would have done it.

Lithia Hyundai of Fresno is just the worst.

Let me provide an update, first there is a finance person named Eli who is just about the only person that cared at all. He knew that I wasn't happy and he gave me his cell number.

Second update, the general manager reached out to me, too bad it took a really bad review for Lithia to pick up the phone.

Apparent failure to properly support Extended Warranty on my BMW X5 and avoiding contact to make correction.

Engine failed to start, apparently to a design problem in the valve train. The dealership is avoiding phone contact even though there was Extended Warranty purchased and paid for ($4292.00) at the time the vehicle was purchased. The warranty documents indicate the warranty was placed with a third-party company, but a phone call to that company claims no knowledge of the vehicle. The vehicle is well within the mileage limit of the warranty, and the time limit is unclear because the dealer neglected to fill in the original "in service" date, or even raise the issue at the time of purchase.

Horrible Experience

The car i got a few days ago is already giving me issues, though they sold it as it had been inspected and without problems. Also, it hasnt even been a week and my cars axle needs to be inspected by a mechanic as the car makes a clicking noise every time I drive it.

I called a Lithia dealer in Sherman Oaks as they didnt provide me any documentation on the cars original warranty or any other proper documentation that is typical for a buyer to get when purchasing a car.

This is the third day calling asking for it and no luck. I also am trying to cancel the Lithia extended warranty I bought, which I have 60 days to cancel and having a hard time with the dealer. Ive send numerous emails and just lacking responsiveness or help. Stay away from a Lithia dealer.

Do yourself a favor, and dont bother buying a car from there.

If you do, stay away from their extended warranty. Pretty disappointed with their customer service.

Customer service and integrity

!9 days to check tranmission fluid and still not complete. Manager of Spokane Wa store will not call me back. They dont care! I will tell all I know to never buy from a Lithia dealership. Go to Valley Dodge instead.

Horrible Service!!!!

I had an appointment to have a company truck worked on. It was to be dropped off by employees at 7:30 and was promised before 2:00.

At 7:30 it was still locked up so the employees parked it and told a Lithia employee in the yard they were leaving it. I tried calling to check on it from before noon until nearly one before I could get someone to return a call. I was then informed they hadnt done anything as they did not know it was there. I was flabergasted that they wouldnt even bother calling.I will never buy another truck from this company or utilize their service department again.

I have bought many expensive trucks from them and I will not make that mistake again. I dont believe their service department knows the meaning of the word service!!!

The never produced the car that was advertised.

Placed an order and deposit of $500 with Driveway. Switched agents 2 times, not contact via email, phone, or in their portal which does not work. Waited days with only a text confirmation saying order paperwork was coming. Called them and they said the car was sold. Customer service was horrible. They are trying to compete with other large online car retailers but have no idea what they are doing.

Held my Jeep hostage

Between June 21st and July;

My jeep started flashing the engine light,low oil pressure light and abs light. The jeep started cutting off after driving it a few minutes.

All this happened after getting a oil change. I called a tow service to take it to Lithia on grizzly court after contacting the one closer to me on brooks St which was booked up three months out. upon leaving it there I received a text from Justin he said he was the one that would oversee my jeep repairs. from that day on I didn't hear anything else from him I called several times a times a day only to get no answer.

Finally I contacted the sales person that sold me the jeep and he went back to the service department to see what was going on. The person in charge was amanda and she finally called me only to say that she didn't know what was going on with my jeep because I didn't have an appointment. After the sales person talked to Justin he said that he had been trying to reach me but I only had 1 voicemail from him and when I tried calling him back I couldn't get him. When my jeep was finally checked I was told it need a oil change and there wasn't any oil in it I told him I just had a oil change and the paper was in the glove box and he could see what had been done.

So he said he was just going to do an oil change. The jeep was there almost a month and they told me that I couldn't get it without paying the bill. The people that did the oil change admitted to messing up and would pay for it. They also charged me storage fee for the car being there before it was repaired.

Later I found out that a repair was done without my permission. the total bill came out to be 455.00 dollars. The customer service is offer. One day I called 45mins before closing and they answered and put the phone down and I was still on the phone after they closed.

Something needs to be done about the attitudes of the workers. I'm 68 years old and have never been treated like this, and I was brought up in jim crow era. Hopefully something can be done about this.

Such disrespect. I'm closing now and hope I can get a resolution.

Worst dealership in the world.

Sold me a vehicle with bad engine. Found proof later by investigating that the dealership knew prior before I purchased the vehicle the motor was no good. Now they ghosting me. No response. And when I do get a hold of the general manager he says he working on it. Been 6 months now.

My son bought a car from them with in 3 months had to have 5000 dollers in work on his Motor. Said all good then 3 months later the whole motor blew. Of course they dont want to help . And very rude . We will be getting something done on this matter. Wont go to them or recommend them

Inadequate knowledge of the Acura product.

All the lights on dash board randomly/intermittenty shut off. Then the lights all reboot Themselves. Further, when the car is put in reverse there is a loud thud. Since the dealer can't reproduce the problem, they're saying they can't find the problem. This car is unsafe to drive anywhere as if it shuts down on a highway, we could potentially loose our lives.

User's recommendation: If the dealer can't fix a car that was purchased from them lthen they should buy it back from you. After all Acura doesn't give away vehicles. What good is a car that is of no use to a buyer.
